Factories sit on unsold stock. Designers spend weeks hunting affordable material.

Pakistan's textile industry produces billions of metres of fabric annually. A significant fraction — export cancellations, overruns, sample runs — becomes surplus. Without a dedicated channel, that material goes to landfill.

At the same time, independent designers, small studios, and emerging labels struggle to access quality material at prices that make sense for small runs. They buy at retail. They pay the markup on the markup.

ThreadMark connects the two. Surplus finds a buyer. Landfill loses a customer. Designers access material they couldn't afford before.

Every listing shows condition, quantity, GSM, and fiber — not vague descriptions. Buyers know exactly what they're getting before they order.

Verified suppliers only

Every seller goes through a verification process. Business documents reviewed. Listings approved before going live. Disputes resolved in the buyer's favour when spec doesn't match.

Real prices, no markup

ThreadMark earns a commission on sale only. No listing fees, no monthly subscriptions, no inflated margins hidden in the price. Surplus priced at surplus rates.

The textile industry's waste problem is solvable — one surplus listing at a time.

Pakistan is the world's fourth-largest cotton producer and home to one of the largest textile export sectors on the planet. Faisalabad, Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, Multan — these cities run on textile production.

The scale of surplus generation is proportional to the scale of production. Export orders get cancelled. Sample runs overproduce. Seasonal lines get discontinued. The material exists. It's real, it's good, and it has nowhere to go.

ThreadMark was built to be that place. A standardised directory — not a generic classifieds board — where surplus is described accurately, priced honestly, and found by people who want exactly what mills have sitting in their warehouses.
